This course will review the published evidence, indications and technique for placing a stainless steel crown on a primary molar without local anesthesia or tooth preparation; known as the Hall Crown Technique. This course will also explain the rationale and procedure for using resin modified glass ionomer to place esthetic crowns on primary anterior teeth without local anesthesia or preparation; a modified minimally invasive hall crown technique. Case examples of both restorations will be reviewed.
